If you do not you run the chance of the color of the rag bleeding into the carpet, and we don't want that! Step 1: Blot the execs wine from the carpet. It is key to blot and not to rub, you are trying to gently remove the wine not rub it deeper into the carpet. Step 2: Use a carpet stain remover that can be found at https://www.lifeisclean.com. Today we'll be using CarpetAid+ but Lifter 1 Carpet Stain Remover and Apex Spot Beater as well as many others on our site could do the job as well! Once you have selected the product that you will use, you will want to apply a moderate amount of the product directly to the stain. Do not drench the carpet. Step 3: Now blot the carpet again and this time you can do it a bit more aggressively but you still don't want to rub it into the carpet fibers. Tip: Depending on how bad the stain is you may want to repeat the process 2-3 times. You know you're done when you don't see any more wine being transferred to your rag. Step 4: Once again apply a moderate amount of the product, CarpetAid+, to the stain and place a white rag on it. Step 5: Place a heavy object onto the rag and let it sit for 2-3 hours. Repeat the process as many times as needed. Do this until you see no more stain and there is no more wine on your rag. Tip: Do not use anything of value because the wine could possibly travel from the rag through the object you have on it. The rag could damage! Trust us, we learned the hard way!
